Music BC and Talking Stick Festival Deliver Day of Indigenous-Led Industry Events on June 25, 2022
In celebration of National Indigenous Heritage Month, join Music BC on June 25th for a full day of Indigenous-led programming, curated in partnership with Talking Stick Festival.
3 pm – 6 pm: Fortune Sound Club
Industry Panels: Take part in a series of lively and welcoming Diversity and Wellness panel discussions offered from a distinctly Indigenous perspective. Speakers include Joe Buffalo, DJ OSHOW, Mamarudegyal, KeAloha, JB The First Lady, Desmon Pack, Eros Taylor, and more. Topics will include business development strategies, mental health, and other best practices for navigating the music industry.
7 pm – 10 pm: Fortune Sound Club
Let’s Hear It! Live – Uplifting Indigenous Artists: Following the panels, Music BC will present an all-Indigenous artist showcase featuring thriving community voices, hosted by JB The First Lady. Showcase artists include Eros Taylor, Caitlin Goulet and Eagle Ex Machina.
