East by Northwest (EXNW) is a global next-generation creative summit designed to highlight, elevate, and empower equity-deserving creatives in and across film, TV, streaming, gaming, and animation.
One of the world’s largest conferences for racialized people in the film, TV, content, gaming and animation community. Featuring an exclusive line-up of speakers, panel discussions, and a glittering fundraiser ball. The three-day event kicks-off on July 26, 2024 and runs until July 28, 2024 at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver.
Speakers include Fresh Off The Boat’s Hudson Yang, Beach House Pictures’ Donovan Chan and Joonsuh Park from Korean drama producer JTBC-SLL are among the speakers confirmed for the second edition of the summit in Vancouver. Organized by Canada’s Racial Equity Screen Office (RESO) in association with Gold House, the event is designed to foster business and creative ties between the content industries in Canada and East Asia.
