Public Disco’s annual Pride Block Party returns to Mount Pleasant for our biggest event yet. In partnership with Vancouver Pride Society, we’re transforming a full city block into an open-air celebration of queer dance music—with two stages, two lots, an alley takeover, and an expanded footprint flowing out onto 3rd Avenue.
Curated by Nancy Dru, this year’s lineup spans a wide range of sounds, headlined by Jason Kendig (formerly of Honey Soundsystem) and a return appearance from DJ Hermano (Brazil/Montreal), whose recent Public Disco set left us wanting more. One stage lives beneath a steel-framed structure that channels the energy of a late-summer warehouse session, while the other anchors our newly expanded lounge environment. Set in industrial Mount Pleasant, this event sold out last year and is quickly becoming a Pride season tradition for dance music lovers in Vancouver.
