Have you ever wondered what goes into writing a song? Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a songwriter? Then please join us for this special evening Songwriters Circle featuring performances and discussions from four of Vancouver’s most stand out songwriters, including moderator Michaela Slinger.
In addition to intimate acoustic performances, our songwriters will be delving deep into the creation and inspiration behind the songs, revealing stories that you may have never heard before. You will experience these songs stripped down to the core of their lyrics and melodies. Come be inspired, and learn about the art, mystery, and importance of songwriting.
Produced by songwriter, producer, and artist Grace Chiang, this event will occur at the Workshop Film Studio, in East Vancouver, as part of the Locals Lounge series.
This initiative has received support from Amplify BC’s Music Industry Initiatives program and the Community Artists Shifting Culture grant, administered by the City of Vancouver.
