AFCI Locations Show and Global Production & Finance Conference Wraps in LA
AFCI wrapped its 32nd annual Locations Show and Global Production & Finance Conference on April 8th in Burbank, CA. The three-day event featured a refreshed look, highlighting more than 80 exhibitors from more than 20 countries for the Locations Show. Creative BC was well-represented showcasing the diversity of locations around the province and highlighting our world class production centre.
On April 7th, as part of the AFCI’s new Finance Conference, the first ever Sustainability Panel: Think Global, Act Local – Talking Reel Green took place, sponsored by Creative BC, and supported by the Motion Picture Production Industry Association of BC and Western Economic Diversification Canada.
It was well attended and it was an enlightening session with valuable discussion focusing on best practices, incentives and engagement at the local level and how this strengthens the sustainable production movement globally.
