Let’s Hear It! Live : Digital Concert Series
Applications for Let’s Hear It! Live – Music BC’s 7-part digital concert series and emerging artist showcase – are now open! After a successful transition to an all-new digital format in 2020, Let’s Hear It! Live will stay true to its mission to provide performance opportunities to unsigned, unmanaged or independent artists while showcasing these performances to a selection of BC Music Industry representatives. These representatives include artists managers, agents, label reps and A&R professionals. This annual concert series and showcase aims to further the musical careers of participants and help introduce their music to new audiences.
Applications from all genders, cultural backgrounds, ethnicities and other measures of diversity are highly encouraged, with three different artists being selected by a jury of local industry representatives for each showcase.
About the Series
The series will offer a unique chance for emerging artists from British Columbia to connect with fans and members of the music industry and fans through live-streamed performances.
Now in its third year, Let’s Hear It! Live program has featured over 40 emerging and unsigned artists from around BC, with concerts streaming from Vancouver, Kelowna and Victoria. From its inception as an initiative put forth by the Vancouver 2018 JUNO Host Committee, Let’s Hear It!
