We are pleased to announce that Green Spark Group has joined the Reel Green™ Advisory Committee.  

An exciting start to 2025, Green Spark Group is a sustainability consulting firm that has been working to help drive sustainable production in the entertainment industry for over 10 years. The firm’s goal is to “change the climate of entertainment” through their consulting services, which focus on corporate sustainability strategies, on-production consulting packages, custom training programs, and online courses. 

Led by President Zena Harris, who brings over 15 years of experience in sustainability across various sectors, Green Spark Group has made significant contributions to advancing sustainable practices in film and television. Notably, they founded the Creative Industries Pact for Sustainable Action in 2018 and achieved B Corp Certification in 2024—further solidifying their commitment to meaningful change.  

With the addition of Green Spark Group, the Reel Green™ Advisory Committee is now backed by 30 industry members who provide invaluable expertise and help guide motion picture productions toward innovative, sustainable practices.

The Consulate General of Canada in Los Angeles, and the Embassies in Bogota and Mexico, are launching the second iteration of the CCA Latin Music Program.

This program cohort will consist of approximately three weeks of programming spread over three months, beginning April 2025 through June 2025. Program will take place virtually in April 2025, in Bogota in May 2025, and in LA in June 2025. During this period, participants will have a unique opportunity to gain access to influential US, Mexican and Colombian-based record labels, music publishers, A&R executives, music supervisors, booking agents, promoters, DSP reps, and others key decision-makers in these three music industries.

Participants will take part in curated workshops and in-person meetings with industry experts, 1-1 pitch sessions, mentorship, networking events, along with other online and in-person events. This program will be a hybrid model with in-person events and virtual sessions.
