Nestled in the vibrant heart of Austin, SXSW assembles professionals from the tech, film, and music industries, embarking on a nine-day journey to explore new frontiers and engage in the evolving landscape of ideas. From March 7 to 15, six delegates from British Columbia will attend with support from Creative BC’s Passport to Markets program, which helps B.C.-based creative media professionals access key international markets, conferences, and co-production and financing opportunities—including support for events like BreakOut West. In addition to the delegation, SXSW will spotlight B.C. talent through official music and film showcases, celebrating the province’s creative voices on a global stage.
