This Earth Day, you’re invited to host your own screening of IN LOVE WITH A PROBLEM – an inspiring short documentary about youth innovation and solutions to plastic pollution.
Directed by Julie Kim, the film follows two teens from Vancouver who discovered a plastic-eating bacteria in the Fraser River and set out on a journey from backyard science experiments to Silicon Valley to tackle one of the planet’s biggest environmental challenges.
Through Story Money Impact’s Earth Day initiative, individuals, educators, workplaces, and community groups across Canada can host their own free screening between March 16 and May 1. Once you register, you’ll receive access to the film along with a full Virtual Screening Kit that includes:
- A discussion guide
- Educational resources for youth and classrooms
- Promotional materials
- Impact resources and calls to action
Whether you’re organizing a classroom discussion, staff event, or community gathering, this is a great way to spark conversation about plastic pollution, innovation, and solutions.
