Nostalgix
Nostalgix is an Iranian born Canadian female singer, writer, and producer. She pushes boundaries as a female artist in electronic music by including her original vocals over top of her own productions, and pulling it all together with a fresh 90s branding with a modern twist.
Supported by Creative BC's Career Development program, Nostalgix released her follow up EP with Night Bass that included her first ever music video for her single Act Out. The video revolves around two personas, with lyrics that allow the viewer to connect with a mindset that people experience two sides of themselves. The battle we see taking place is Nostalgix's symbolism for her other side acting out and trying to take control.
With 2021 in full swing, Nostalgix has already seen releases on Deadbeats, UKF, and Thrive Music, as well as adding festival slots for the likes of HARD Summer, Beyond Wonderland, Spring Awakening, and more. Nostalgix has received praise from multiple publications including the prestigious Forbes & Atwood Magazine.
