Mike Edel
The first single from Sound Recording recipient Mike Edel is now streaming. “Go With You” is part of Edel’s third full-length album.
The album was recorded in both Victoria (The Hive) and in Vancouver (Afterlife Studios, Monarch Studios) with Washington producer, Chris Walla, who is best known as the former guitarist of Death Cab for Cutie.
The new album is being released later this year through Victoria label, Cordova Bay Records.
“Go With You” is about “change and vectoring forward into the unknown without regret,” says Edel. Edel and Chris Walla began working together two after Edel sent Walla some demos while living north of the arctic circle in Norway. The pair adopted a ‘consistency is boring’ mantra with the new single.
