Post Modern Connection
Hailing from Kelowna, Post-Modern Connection (PMC) is an indie band showcasing eclectic and soulful RnB infused vocals with catchy pop riffs. Their electronic synths pair with classical violin – for a blend of indie rock, soul tinged with jazz and lightly expressing psychedelic pop. With the support of Creative BC's Career Development program, PMC is currently working on their debut EP.
PMC's members bring global backgrounds, with lead singer and guitarist Tega from Nigeria, lead guitarist Georges from Lebanon, bassist Steven from Taiwan, and drummer/synth player Aaron as well as violinist – Mitch, who both call Canada home.
High energy with powerful melodic dynamics has led them to sell out headline performances around Western Canada, as well as open for artists such as Desiigner, Wintersleep, and Hollerado, among others. They’ve had their singles spun on CBC Radio, been showcased on Global News, featured in Happy Magazine and dozens of online blogs, as well as had their music video Memories win them a Kootenay Music Award for “Best Music Video.”
"The five-piece indie-dream band has been defying genres since it formed a few years ago, sharing their unique experiences through each song they release. The band has been climbing to local fame by becoming regulars on lineups across the Okanagan." – Global News
