Nuela Charles
Nuela Charles created her EP Distant Danger with producer Ryan Worsley at Echoplant Recording Studios. The record led to a 2019 Juno Award nomination for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year.
The alternative soul singer/songwriter is based in Edmonton. She was supported by the Record in BC stream of the Career Development program to produce her second album. Nuela Charles followed up Distant Danger with the 2019 release Melt, featuring other singles also produced as part of her Career Development project, such as “Known Better” and “Got It Bad”.
