Applications Open for ArtStarts Creative Spark Grant for Emerging Artists: Apply by April 19!

In partnership with the City of Vancouver, the ArtStarts’ Creative Spark Grant provides emerging artists with financial resources ($3,000 for individuals and $5,000 for groups) towards small projects in schools. If you are an emerging artist residing in Vancouver, or a member of the Musqueam, Squamish, or Tsleil-Waututh Nations, and have an interest in building a career working with young people in an arts-based capacity, you are highly encouraged to apply for Creative Spark Vancouver.
This grant is designed for you if you:

are an emerging artist looking to explore career opportunities

are interested in working with young people (ages 5-18) and need support to start

have a project idea but don’t have the funds to cover the required materials and supplies
Creative Spark Vancouver is an excellent opportunity for emerging artists to gain experience on small projects with the potential to develop new career opportunities, new community relationships, new insights on arts and education, future learning opportunities and exciting multi-faceted projects.
