Applications Now Open for Metro Vancouver Cultural Grants – May 4, 2022 Deadline

Metro Vancouver is now accepting submissions for its annual regional cultural grants for 2022. The deadline is May 4, 2022.
Funding assistance is available to arts and culture organizations for regional projects. The regional project grants support creation, production, dissemination, audience development, research, project staff and/or administrative capacity building. Project grants are awarded to a maximum of $10,000 each, though most grant amounts previously awarded range between $2,500-$5,000. The 2022 total allocation will not exceed $150,000.
In order to qualify for a grant, applicants must:
-
promote arts and culture as their primary purpose;
-
provide public arts programs and services on an ongoing basis within Metro Vancouver;
-
be a “stand-alone” and not merely part of an organization whose function or purpose extends beyond an arts and culture mandate;
-
be a non-profit society, registered under the BC Societies Act for at least 2 fiscal years (i.e., registered before April 1, 2020);
-
demonstrate that they are a well-run organization with a well-defined arts and culture mandate, sound administration, and solid business plan; and
-
obtain funding from diverse sources.
Grants are intended to support regional arts and culture projects, and not ongoing operational/general funding
Applications must be received by 4:00 pm on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.
The 2022 application, along with information about project eligibility and selection criteria, is available here.
