BC Arts Council Announces Action Plan for 2022 – 2024

On April 8, 2022, the BC Arts Council announced its Extending Foundations: Action Plan 2022 – 2024. The plan focuses on reconciliation, equity, diversity, inclusion, and access and aims to respond to the need for systemic change by reducing barriers, increasing accessibility, and making space for those that have been historically left out.
Extending Foundations: Action Plan 2022—2024 outlines the Province’s plan to enhance accessibility, reduce barriers, and support diversity in the B.C. arts community.
The plan also identifies seven key areas of the Council for the subsequent two years:
