Music BC is excited to have launched a brand-new element of its career development toolkit for live music professionals. Jumpstart Foundations is an on-demand video series, presented by music industry leaders.

Throughout Summer and Fall 2022, Music BC will be releasing concise video modules in areas such as Music Marketing, Funding, Creative Resumes, Professionalism, and Project Management – all offered at no cost to the viewer.

Examples of these modules include:

Music Marketing 101 for Artists – Presented by Jeff Ojeda
This session will offer an introduction to key strategies for artists and new music entrepreneurs to employ in supporting their creative project.

Professionalism in the Music Industry – Presented by Kristina Lao
This session will walk through the necessary steps to lay a solid foundation for a start in the music business, including how to tailor your resume to highlight your creative experience, and properly articulate your goals.
