The Women In Music Canada Entrepreneur Accelerator Program: apply by October 24, 2022!

Women in Music is launching the third annual Entrepreneur Accelerator program, focused on supporting the next wave of female and gender diverse Canadian music industry leaders. After a successful first, Ontario-based year, and having completed a a second year extended to a national scope, the group is now excited to take the program to a new level. Responding to feedback from graduates of the program in 2021, WIM will be growing the program to feature more mentorship opportunities with program presenters and leaders in the field of music entrepreneurship.

Sessions included in the overall program include the following, all delivered from a female and gender-diverse entrepreneur lens:

  • Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship
  • Business Strategy for Music Entrepreneurs
  • Leadership: Psychology and Breaking Down Barriers
  • Business Model Canvas and Goal Setting
  • Data Analytics for Music Business
  • Strategic Marketing and Branding
  • Financial literacy
  • Intellectual Property, Royalties, & Revenue Paths

Women in Music Canada values diversity, equity, and inclusion, and welcomes and invites female and gender-diverse individuals from diverse backgrounds to apply.

Application Deadline: October 24, 2022.
Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by November 1, 2022.

The 2022 Entrepreneur Accelerator including the mentorship program will run online. Sessions will run from 6:00 PM through 8:00 PM ET (3:00 PM – 5:00 PM PT) Tuesday and Thursday, weekly. Mentorship sessions will run as per specific arranged times by participants.
