New Dawn 2023 Call for Entries
New Dawn is an international film production fund aimed to support a larger diversity of voices and perspectives. A combined effort by 10 European and Canadian public film funds, New Dawn was launched in May 2022 at the Cannes Festival. The first selection was completed in September 2022 where six projects were chosen.
To be eligible, a production must be a feature-length live action, documentary or animated fiction. Shooting must begin after the application date.
The production must be Canadian or an international coproduction having been granted selective production support from one of the below regional or national fund:

Manitoba Film and Music
Indigenous screen Office
