Business Mission to IndiaJoy 2023

The Government of British Columbia invites companies from British Columbia to take part in a Business Mission to IndiaJoy 2023, to be held in Hyderabad, India from October 31 to November 4 2023. The program will begin with an opportunity to meet with industry in Mumbai/Bengaluru on October 30, and to participate in IndiaJoy October 31 to November 4.

British Columbia Trade and Invest India has 4 offices in India co-located at the High Commission of New Delhi and the Consulate Generals in Mumbai, Chandigarh and Bengaluru. The team is here to assist BC companies with their India growth plans and the Digital Entertainment Trade Commissioner will be available to provide on ground assistance during the event.

The focus of this trade mission is to match BC companies to opportunities and partners in India’s Digital Entertainment and Interactive Media sector. This mission is ideal for companies that are new to the Indian market and those looking to renew interests –

Overview
IndiaJoy is Asia’s largest aggregator platform bringing together companies and events in the animation, VFX, gaming, comics, film, e-sports and Web3 industries. The 2023 edition will be held at the Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana. The festival offers nine events for investors, digital media companies, studios, content developers, and hardware manufacturers featuring networking opportunities, trade exhibitions, product launches, and B2B/B2C events. More than 150 exhibitors and 60 companies from 50-plus countries participated in the 2022 edition, including about 20,000 visitors
Participating Canadian companies will have the opportunity to showcase their creative technology, products, services and solutions to the industry, while also developing relationships with potential new customers and having access to market experts and decision-makers to gain deeper insights into India.

This mission is being organized in partnership with Global Affairs Canada. Participants will be responsible for flights, visas, accommodation, meals and other local costs.
