Diversity in Games Creative Campfire 2023 Seeking Speakers

Diversity in Games (DIG) is excited to announce that Creative Campfire, their in-person, inaugural, all day event will be happening on November 18th, 2023!

They are currently seeking out speakers that would like to join and share insight to a diverse audience from budding game devs to industry leaders.

The format consists of: panel sessions, keynotes and forum discussions, then culminating in a thrilling pitching competition in the renowned PVP format.

Topics they are interested in having folks speak on:
– Stories of success and failure!
– Bridging the Gap: Diversity done right
– Demystifying industry roles, ethics, and perspectives
– Candid appraisals – emergent technologies, such as: A.I., VR

And anything in between! They want to have diverse voices represented on their stage, so if you would like to speak on a topic you don’t see on the list, please sign up! They encourage speakers of all experience levels to sign up as they are a safe and inclusive place to support growing public speakers.

Speaker submission closes on Sunday, October 22nd, 2023, with final speaker line up to be confirmed by Sunday, October 29th, 2023.
Some things to keep in mind:
– Keynote presentations are: 20 mins long followed by 10 mins for Q&A
– Panels (3 speakers + moderator) are: 40 mins long followed by 15 mins for Q&A
– We are open to applications from people with any level of speaking experience
