REEL Earth Day Challenge – Directors Chairs at Sapperton Landing
Have you seen the REEL Earth Day Challenge Directors’ Chairs at Sapperton Landing yet?
Designed and created in a unique way to show the relationship between the BC Film Industry and the Metro Vancouver Regional Parks, these chairs acknowledge the impact of Reel Green’s REEL Earth Day Challenge. The annual fundraiser works with Metro Vancouver Regional Parks Foundation (MVRPF) and industry to raise money for park projects and give back to the community.
On the back of one of the chairs sits 3 plaques recognizing the winning teams of the first, second, and third years of the REDC, with room for more plaques in the coming years.
“Our hope is that even after a production crew has wrapped up these plaques and chairs will be a permanent place to honour and celebrate their contribution.”
– Janet Antonio, Executive Director of Metro Vancouver Regional Parks Foundation
If you’re in New Westminster, give these chairs a visit and snap a photo!
