BC Yukon Book Prizes 2024 Submissions Open
Publishers and authors may submit books that fit the prizes/awards categories as posted on the BC and Yukon Book Prizes website. Books must meet all of the general criteria for the BC and Yukon Book Prizes, and all the eligibility criteria for each individual prize. There are eight prize categories and one award given out each year. See Prize and Award Categories for details.
To be eligible, entry forms and fees must be received no later than December 1, 2023. ($45 per book, per prize category entered).
The finalists for the eight prizes and are announced in mid-April. The prize winners are announced at the BC ad Yukon Book Prizes Gala. The Gala is held annually in September. The winners receive a cash prize of $3,000 plus a certificate.
