Apply for Music BC’s Jumpstart Grants by March 21, 2024
Music BC’s Jumpstart Grants will assist B.C.-based, for-profit music businesses in hiring a summer apprentice aspiring to work in the music business.
This program promotes hands-on training through a 10-20 hour/week part-time work placement, coupled with invaluable industry mentorship, with the overarching goal of fostering pathways toward full-time employment in the industry.
Program timeline:
Applications Open: Thursday, February 8, 2024 (9am PST)
Applications Close: Thursday, March 21, 2024 (5pm PST)
Results Sent: On or before Friday, April 5, 2024 (5pm PST)
Final Report: Monday, September 30, 2024 (5pm PST)
Please note: This program will be accepting applications to support part-time work placements that take place between June 1, 2024, and August 31, 2024. As this is a pilot program, future timelines will be assessed and announced by Music BC in 2025.
