Play NYC, New York’s premier gaming convention, returns in its 9th year from August 23 to August 25, 2024 in partnership with Anime NYC. British Columbia’s J Tseng of narraticlabs is attending through Creative BC’s Passport to Markets program, which provides travel support to talents in interactive and digital media industry. These creative media professionals are able to access key international markets, conferences, co-production and co-financing events, fostering growth and collaboration within the industry. Creative BC’s support offsets a portion of travel, accommodation and registration expenses.
Play NYC unites creators and fans from the New York area and beyond in a three-day celebration of games featuring hundreds of playable games, creators from games industry live on-site, as well as opportunities to play the popular games.
