Join the Young Music Professionals Program
Young Music Professionals (YMP) is a new network and not-for-profit organization that works to create a clear, accessible, and supportive career pipeline in Canada’s music industry. The network is dedicated to connecting members with each other, industry veterans, and associated career opportunities.
Community partners include ADVANCE, Canada’s Black Music Business Collective, the Indigenous Music Office, and Women in Music Canada.
Membership is open to all industry members aged 35 or under who are currently working or between jobs in the Northern Turtle Island/Canadian music industry. Please note that membership is not open to creatives such as artists, self-managed artists, songwriters, or producers. Members must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (new immigrants and refugees are welcome). Membership is free.
