This edition of the CCA will focus on production companies working in the horror film space that have received pre-development funding. Applicants should be established Canadian production companies with a varied slate of projects. A current project will be the main reference for selection. Participants will take part in conversations with industry experts, networking event,s and one-on-one meetings. Only those who can commit to the full scope of the program should apply. All programming for this upcoming cohort will be in English.
Applications will be open until August 22, 2025 and the cohort will have a target announcement date of August 29, 2025. The announcement may be pushed to early September 2025, due to judging requirements.
We encourage applicants to apply in English, given that the judges are LA-based and we cannot assure that they will read or understand French. That said, if you would like to submit an application in French please email cal.info@international.gc.ca to discuss how we can best translate the application for the English judges.
