From September 3, 2025, delegates from British Columbia will attend Content Canada in Toronto, supported by Creative BC’s Passports to Markets program.
Content Canada is a leading gathering for Canadian content creators, producers, distributors, platforms, and commissioners focused on the rapidly evolving “new content economy.”
The one-day event, hosted at The Globe and Mail Centre, features multiple headline strands designed to address future-oriented trends: Create Canada (for producers becoming creators in a digital-first world), The AI Festival (exploring ethical AI, production technology, and strategic content innovation), International Co-production Focus, and Content Trends & Strategies.
Through the Passports to Markets program, Creative BC provides targeted travel support that enables B.C.-based creative media professionals to access these high-value opportunities. This investment helps local producers and companies expand their international networks, secure co-production and financing partnerships, and strengthen B.C.’s visibility and competitiveness in the global screen industry.
