From November 16 to 19, 2025, delegates from British Columbia will attend the International Documentary Forum (IDFA) in Amsterdam, supported by Creative BC’s Passports to Markets program.

The International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam is the world’s largest festival for documentary film and new media, combining a public festival showcasing over 300 documentaries each year with a robust industry market gathering more than 3,000 documentary professionals.

Through the Passports to Markets program, Creative BC provides targeted travel support that enables B.C.-based creative media professionals to access these high-value opportunities. This investment helps local producers and companies expand their international networks, secure co-production and financing partnerships, and strengthen B.C.’s visibility and competitiveness in the global screen industry.
