From March 9-13, 2026, Canadian delegates will attend the GDC Festival of Gaming (GDC) in San Francisco, California.

GDC is the world’s largest and most influential professional gaming industry event, attracting over 28,000 developers, publishers, and investors from more than 100 countries, and returns in 2026 with its main conference running March 17–21. It offers unparalleled access to developers, publishers, platform holders, investors, and major international decision makers across the full spectrum of interactive entertainment. Participation in the Accelerator equips Canadian studios and creators with targeted mentorship, market insights, and facilitated introductions to global partners, supporting new co-production, financing, and distribution opportunities while strengthening Canada’s presence in the international gaming marketplace.

Through the Passports to Markets program, Creative BC provides targeted travel support that enables B.C.-based creative media professionals to access these high-value opportunities. This investment helps local producers and companies expand their international networks, secure co-production and financing partnerships, and strengthen B.C.’s visibility and competitiveness in the global screen industry.
