Juried Sound Recording, a recurring funding program offered by FACTOR, supports the creation, promotion, and distribution of full-length sound recordings by Canadian artists. It offers flexible financial support across multiple components, including Sound Recording, Marketing, Tour Support, Video, Showcase, and Radio Marketing.
Artists and approved record labels can apply for up to $67,500 over a 24-month term. Eligible expenses range from studio production and music videos to digital advertising, promotional appearances, and live performance videos. Applications must include the Sound Recording component, and at least two others.
