Survey: National Survey on the Cultural Sector’s Readiness for Artificial Intelligence

As part of the implementation of the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy, AI for All, Canadian Heritage is developing a new Creative Technology Program, a $50 million initiative designed to support the cultural sector’s adaptation to technological change, including advances in artificial intelligence.

To support the design of this program, Canadian Hertiage is launching the National Survey on the Cultural Sector’s Readiness for Artificial Intelligence. The survey aims to better understand organizations’ level of readiness, identify the challenges and opportunities associated with AI adoption, and gather feedback to help inform the program’s development.

The survey will be available until September 15.

It is intended for organizations, businesses, associations, and other stakeholders across Canada’s following subsectors:

  • Audiovisual
  • Interactive Digital Media
  • Archives
  • Indigenous languages
  • Visual and applied arts and galleries
  • Music
  • Books
  • Performing Arts
  • News
  • Museums

The survey will be available until September 15.
