Creative BC is an independent non-profit agency with a mandate to provide a specialized suite of programs, initiatives, and services that sustain and grow B.C.’s creative industries – and promote them around the world.

BC Film Commission
With over 40 years of stewardship, the BC Film Commission builds relationships and supports the motion picture industry through responsive production services, strategic initiatives, and community engagement. The commission champions environmentally sustainable, inclusive, and film-friendly practices that make B.C. a top production destination.
Funding Programs
The Funding Programs department drives the creation and export of B.C.-owned creative content across film, television, music, and interactive media. The team designs and delivers funding opportunities that support development, production, and promotion – helping local creators and companies thrive at home and abroad.
Motion Picture Tax Credits
This specialized department of analysts administers provincial financial incentive programs that strengthen B.C.’s motion picture sector. By supporting local producers and attracting international studios, the team fosters strong industry relationships and contributes to a thriving provincial economy.
Operations and Finance
The Operations and Finance departments ensures efficient, transparent, and accountable organizational management. Operations manages communications, marketing, IT systems, research, and human resources to support program delivery. Finance oversees budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to drive fiscal responsibility and data-driven decisions.

What you can expect:

Interview Process: For most roles, the process includes a virtual interview followed by an in-person interview with the hiring panel. Interviews are structured, consistent, and designed to give you an opportunity to share your experience and ask questions about the role and organization.
