5X Fest, Metro Vancouver’s premier festival of Panjabi music, returns from June 12 to 14 with a high-energy celebration marking 20 years of the Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration (VIBC).
Now in its eighth year, the festival honours two decades of cultural exchange and artistic innovation, with a powerful lineup of performances, installations, and events. This year’s lineup includes Talwiinder in his debut B.C. performance, a showcase set by the iconic Gminxr, G. Sidhu’s first-ever 5X appearance, rising local star Sahil Cheema, and electrifying DJ sets from the viral U.K. duo Panjabi Hit Squad and fan-favourite MTooray.
