Sustainable production efforts in British Columbia were formalized 10 years ago through the Reel Green initiative, a resource centre with a collection of best practices to help productions reduce their environmental impacts and improve their overall environmental footprint.
Reel Green™ helps Canada’s motion picture industry unite to improve production practices and reduce environmental impacts through strategic collaboration with other municipalities, organizations, local vendors and committed ambassadors.

Dates: The festival runs on the 3rd weekend of July, starting on the Friday evening and finishing up early evening on Sunday.
Parking: There is a user-regulated parking lot at the festival grounds and ample more parking along the highway. Watch for barriers that allow artist parking behind the stage.
Transportation: Please be advised that there is no taxi service or public transit in Bella Coola. For your peace of mind and full Bella Coola experience, it is advised that you bring or rent your own vehicle. Go to bellacoolavehiclerentals.com for rental info.
Camping: Unfortunately, there is no camping on-site. Please visit bellacoola.ca for a variety of accommodation options, including camping.
Family-friendly: The Bella Coola Music Festival is a drug and alcohol-free event.
