The Okanagan Film Fundamentals 2016 consists of two separate events:

  • Motion Picture Industry Orientation Course
    March 3-4 or March 5-6
This two day course teaches the foundations needed to work safely on a film set, and is a mandatory requirement to apply to most film labour organizations in BC.
  • Symposium

The symposium brings together some of the most talented people in the industry to lead workshops and sessions on film and television production, financing, script writing, directing, budgeting, distribution, pitching story ideas, and entertainment law. There will also be opportunities for participants to network and build relationships with industry VIPs and forums for participants to pitch their films to real funders and producers.
