Women in Film & TV: From Our Dark Side Genre Film Contest
WIFTV is ready for the best in Canadian women-driven genre film ideas, and applications are now open for this national English language contest.
Submit your maximum 3-5 page genre film outline for a chance to win an accelerator program designed to help you get your feature length project to the next stage. Open to women writers only.
A jury of top genre creators will shortlist ten projects and select five to win a $500 cash prize and to participate in a five month accelerator program from March to July 2017. Winners will work on their projects between March and July, and have a fifteen-page treatment, as well as a pitch and promotional package ready to take to the Frontières International Co-Production Market in July.
