Under the banner “Singular Plurality”, Canada as the Guest of Honour country will offer a redesigned virtual program to present its diverse literature and culture at the Frankfurt Book Fair this year. With over 300 titles already published or in the process of being released in 2020 and 2021 by more than a hundred German publishers, the Canadian literary scene has an extraordinarily busy year ahead. Having to adjust its original plans to accommodate the current health environment, Canada’s official literary delegation, composed of renowned authors and illustrators as well as emerging voices, is expected to be part of the official virtual presence in Frankfurt in October.
