Tell Us What’s Happening – Tie-in use in Vancouver!

Jul 22, 2021

The use of industry specific power tie-ins at Vancouver Art Gallery in 2019 has been a great success. To reduce fuel consumption, productions will need to tie-in more.

In addition to the grid tie-ins at the Vancouver Art Gallery, tie-ins are available at the Hotel Vancouver, Rosewood Hotel Georgia, Molson's Brewery and Surrey City Hall.

Moving along, Vancouver is installing two new kiosks that will be completed in early 2020 at Larwill Park (Cambie St @ Georgia St) and at 800 Robson Plaza.  Additionally, 2-3 sites will be identified for the installation of kiosks near the end of 2020. Vancouver plans to build a network of at least 15 kiosks across the City at a pace of 2-4 per year over the next 3-5 years.

Know of other locations? Let us know!

To learn more about grid tie-ins, join us at the Reel Green meeting on January 20, 10am at Creative BC.
