Supported, in part, by Creative BC, VIFF Amp explores every aspect of the intersection of music and sound in visual media. The program supports an annual cohort of songwriters, composers, music supervisors and managers, with a focus on providing access to artists from traditionally marginalized communities. The 2022 program cycle runs October 6 – 9, 2022.

The 2022 program’s opening keynote address and concert on October 6 – delivered by two-time Emmy-nominated composer Michael Abels, and backed by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra – is open to the public, with tickets available for purchase.
