Discounts Available for Mental Health Training

Just like a CPR course teaches us what to do in a cardiac emergency, mental health first aid provides the core skills and tools to support someone in a mental health emergency.
The Actors’ Fund of Canada (AFC) is working towards a time when there is someone who is trained in mental health first aid at every set, stage, venue, and workplace in the entertainment industry.
This Mental Health First Aid Training Course is being offered virtually several times in the coming months. Subsidized spots are available for music and entertainment industry members who may find the training fee prohibitive. The next training course will run March 8 – 9, 2023. Subsidized spots are available for those in need.
