The BC Film Commission at Creative BC has been nominated in the Outstanding Film Commission category at the 12th Annual Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) Awards for its exemplary work on HBO’s “The Last of Us” Season 2.
The Outstanding Film Commission award is presented to organizations that demonstrate exceptional and creative efforts beyond the standard level of service provided to location professionals. This year, the nominees in this category include the City of Toronto, Egypt Film Commission, Film New Orleans, Montana Film Office, and New Jersey Motion Picture & Television Commission.
Founded in 2003, the Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) is a global organization of career location professionals dedicated to upholding the highest ethical standards. Through a combination of local commitment and international collaboration, the Guild fosters strong relationships between productions, government agencies, businesses, and communities.
