Creative BC plays a unique role in supporting one of British Columbia’s most dynamic sectors. Through strategic investments, industry development, provincial tax credit administration, and partnerships across government and the creative community, the organization helps strengthen the province’s film and television, interactive digital media, music and sound recording, and book and magazine publishing industries.
Serving on the Board is an opportunity to contribute to the long-term success of these industries by providing strategic oversight, sound governance, and thoughtful stewardship of an organization that plays an important role in British Columbia’s cultural and economic future.
As we look to the future, we are seeking candidates who bring diverse perspectives, strong judgment, and a commitment to public service. We welcome applicants from across British Columbia with experience in areas such as:
- Governance, finance, legal, or executive leadership
- Motion picture production, animation, visual effects, or global production services
- Interactive digital media, technology, cybersecurity, or artificial intelligence
- Indigenous leadership and community engagement
- Equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and reconciliation
- Arts, culture, publishing, music, and the broader creative economy
