Interactive Fund Open for Applications
Vancouver, BC – Established in 2010, the Interactive Fund is a program created in partnership between Creative BC and the BC Arts Council. The program is intended to support the production of high quality, original, interactive digital media content and software applications owned and controlled by BC companies or individuals.
The funding is a non-recoupable advance of up to $50,000 and does not require matching funding or market support to trigger eligibility. Applications are reviewed through a competitive, subjective process.
The deadline for applications is Thursday, November 24, 2016.
Former recipients of the Interactive Fund include the children’s app Windy and Friends, the mobile game KaBoing KaBoom, the educational app Run Salmon Run and Tangible Interaction’s installation, Halo.
