Demo Recording

Amplify BC

The Demo Recording program supports new and emerging artists from systemically excluded groups living in B.C. to engage in sound recording and mentorship with local music producers.

This program is supported through the Vancouver Music Fund and Amplify BC.

Artists and producers can apply together for a $2,000 grant to cover 100% of recording expenses for one to two songs.

  Program Closed

This program will re-launch for applications on January 28, 2026.

The application deadline will be March 18, 2026.

Updated program documentation will be made available on launch day.

Applications are evaluated by a panel of industry professionals that represent the groups this program is intended to serve, according to the priorities of the program, and using the scoring sheet below. Evaluation is competitive and comparative, based on the applications submitted and the funding available.
