The Association of Book Publishers of BC (Books BC) is a provincial association of BC owned and controlled book publishing companies. The ABPBC works to support the long-term health and success of the Canadian-owned book industry in British Columbia.
DigiBC is a non-profit association that promotes, supports and accelerates the growth, sustainability and competitiveness of B.C.’s creative technology industry, which includes the video games, VFX, animation, VR/AR/XR, and virtual production sectors.
The Magazine Association of British Columbia is a not-for-profit association of member magazines and professionals working to unite, promote and strengthen the province’s magazine industry.
Music BC Industry Association is a not for profit association serving the for profit and non-profit music industry, including artists from all genres, industry professionals, service providers, studios, promoters, venues, festivals, producers, agents, managers and educational institutions.
Established in 2002, Screen BC (Motion Picture Production Industry Association of British Columbia) is a member-based non-profit organization dedicated to a strong future for BC’s motion picture production sector.
Within these core industry associations are three specialized associations representing the unique interests of specific screen and interactive industry businesses:
The Animation and Visual Effects Alliance of B.C. is the voice of the industry in British Columbia. They work proactively work with government and industry partners to ensure that British Columbia remains the ideal location to create and produce animation and visual effects.
Member of Screen BC and DigiBC.
The Vancouver Post Alliance represents the interests of the Post Production industry in British Columbia. The VPA strives to promote and market their talent, create a platform to exchange knowledge, aid professional development, and provide a forum for networking and collaboration.

The VRARA Vancouver chapter is the leading voice of VR/AR in British Columbia and represents the coming-together of brilliant minds across the VR/AR/MR ecosystem, from original content creators & creative distributors to innovative hardware companies and ambitious researchers.

A national body of funders and B.C.’s Indigenous cultural council are Creative BC’s key strategic partners in developing B.C.’s creative sector.
The Association of Provincial and Territorial Funding Agencies (APTFA) is a committee comprised of provincial and territorial funding agencies, similar to Creative BC, across Canada that meets periodically, and is chaired by Prem Gill, CEO, Creative BC.
The mandate of First Peoples’ Cultural Council is to assist B.C. First Nations in their efforts to revitalize their languages, arts and cultures.
