What kinds of expenses should I list in my budget? What kinds of revenues should I list in my budget? How do I ensure that my budget balances? Are in-kind expenses allowed? How do I include expenses that I’ve already incurred, or that I am still planning for? What kind of supporting information should I include with my budget? What common budget errors can confuse panelists and staff when my application is reviewed? Are these questions that often come to mind as you work through your project budgets for Amplify BC programs? Completing your project budget – making sure that it’s clear and understandable, and that that it conveys the same ‘story’ as your grant application – can be challenging for applicants of all backgrounds, and for those with varying degrees of financial literacy.
