ishQ is a Bollywood urban music producer living in Vancouver, B.C. His Punjabi roots plus his western upbringing, have allowed him to create a unique sound catered for Mumbai and NRI populations. This year he was supported through the Amplify BC Career Development program for the marketing and promotion of the album House of ishQ. The campaign resulted in increased streams on Spotify and social media, and helped the artist top 110k subscribers on YouTube.
ishQ's work includes his hit track “Har Gham Me Khushi Hai” from the Bollywood block buster movie Gully Boy. Audiences got to know ishQ’s personality through hit TV series “Iss Jungle se Mujhe Bachao!” and VJing shows for MTV, Channel V and B4U. He has featured in many Bollywood music videos such as “Karle Gunna – Ugly Aur Pagli“, and “Harry’s not a Bramachari – Shaadi ke side effects“.
