On Saturday 27th at 10am PST IM4 will be hosting ‘Intro to AR with Spark’. This online workshop will be taught by instructor Dallas Flett-Wapash. MUSIC CANADA LAUNCHES NEW ARTIST FOCUSED SURVEY
Music Canada has partnered with Abacus Data to get a renewed understanding of how artists’ perspectives continue to be impacted, ten months into the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey will hear directly from artists on the financial implications they are experiencing, how the pandemic is impacting their ability to create music, and how they are building or evolving skill sets to help them get by. Canadian artists are encouraged to add their voice by completing the survey linked below.

FIRST PEOPLES' CULTURAL COUNCIL FUNDING | INDIGENOUS ARTS PROGRAM

  • Indigenous Arts Scholarship – Up to $20,000 for mentorship-based arts education and up to $10,000 for post-secondary arts education. Apply by April 15th
  • Community Arts Infrastructure – Up to $20,000 to support community arts workspaces and workshops focused on the transmission of arts knowledge in all artistic disciplines.
  • Organizations and Collectives – Up to $15,000 for artistic production, mentorship or administrative capacity-building projects, and up to $30,000 for combined artistic production, mentorship and administrative capacity-building projects.
