Creative Industries Week 2022 | #BCCreates Stars of Tomorrow
The seventh annual Creative Industries Week is bringing industry associations, stakeholders and creators together to showcase and celebrate B.C.’s dynamic creative sector the week of May 16, 2022. The diverse creators from the book publishing, interactive + digital media, magazine publishing, motion picture, and music + sound recording industries drive innovation in our province and propel British Columbia’s economic and cultural reputation.
Last year, the creative industries demonstrated creative perseverance with an online showcase event “BC Creates Virtually: Growing Forward”; this year, events will focus on “Connecting BC’s Creative Constellation”, which refers to the collective need and growing ability to connect on a range of levels: the established with the emerging, the digital with the physical, the talent with technology – all within the context of the resounding priorities that have come clearly into focus over the past two years. This year, we focus on tomorrow.
